Reemah region
Rimah has been renowned for coffee cultivation since ancient times, and some researchers believe that Rimah was the first region in Yemen to cultivate coffee. This notion is supported by numerous books and references. Rimah Governorate is among the most prominent regions in Yemen for cultivating coffee trees, which are found in most mountainous areas. Coffee varieties in Rimah are diverse, exhibiting variations in color and aroma based on the specific terrain and location of cultivation.
Rimi coffee is produced from farms located in Rimah Governorate at elevations ranging from 1500 to 2950 meters above sea level.
