Khawlan region
The Khawlan region is considered one of the most important sources of Khawlani coffee in the world. What distinguishes Khawlani coffee from other types of coffee is that it can only be cultivated under specific conditions and requires special care to ensure high quality. Moreover, the distinctive flavor of this coffee is one of its main characteristics that sets it apart from other varieties.
Khawlani coffee is produced from farms located in Khawlan-Bani Amer, which is part of the Saada Governorate, at an elevation ranging from 1400 to 2500 meters
above sea level.
The coffee varieties available in the Khawlan region are:
- Al-Adeni.
- Al-Dawairi.
- Al-Tuffahi.
